Love this post!! Such great perspective and is definitely motivating me to take action and work on excellence in what I do! Going to put in a plan of action steps to work the hardest I can at what God has put in front of me! Thank you for these wise words and encouragement Lydia!!

Great wisdom in the fast paced world we live in of instant gratification & expecting quick results ! So true- we never know where our current situation & relationships will lead us, how God is maneuvering us and others to his path. It may take years to see where God was working, but at my age I can now look back and see our paths and how God led us . Thank you for yet another great read!

I just read a couple of your posts. You could consider doing a devotional book. I really enjoyed what I read so far and was quite encouraged.

Lydia: loved this writing…we all heard stories in church but this takes it to a whole different level and so in-depth. It put the story in a way we could understand…keep up the good work. Love you, Aunt Nora

I love this, Lydia! Genesis is such an amazingly rich book, isn’t it?

In case you haven’t seen it, this filmmaker went to Egypt and found archeological evidence for Joseph in Egypt including where he was buried. Fascinating stuff - https://link.tubi.tv/ooi2ouG1qKb

Yes, Genesis is so full of wisdom! And thank you for the link! I will have to look into that.

You’re welcome. He did another film covering the Exodus and Red Sea crossing. Are you familiar with the work of Ron Wyatt? A wonderful rabbit hole to go down if you aren’t, his work is on YouTube.

Your posts are always interesting to read but more than that they cause me to examine myself. Have I put in the work God has for me to do so that I can bless others like Joseph did?

Loved having a refresher course in the life of Joseph! I think of how often I have breezed through Genesis, but not a book I typically felt compelled to often revisit and study to the degree you actually pursued here! A good reminder that very few things in life come without some level of sacrifice of our time and creating work ethics that allow us to attain our goals in life! Great read!
